Surveys with Lidar Systems

Thanks to the collaboration with Virtualgeo s.r.l. and its technicians, S.P.A.R.T.A. carries out three-dimensional surveys and representations with the most advanced systems on the market. The use of terrestrial laser scanners and software developed by Virtualgeo (CloudCUBE and EasyCUBE) allows 3D modelling the territory and proposing for surveying other lidar systems (e.g. car-borne and airborne), of which S.P.A.R.T.A. knows how to process data for design and three-dimensional representation.
S.P.A.R.T.A. has at disposal all the survey technologies: the traditional (total stations and GPS), the most advanced (laser scanner), and the interferometric systems for underwater surveys, so it manages the surveys of the sites according to the design needs, making use of the most suitable and fastest systems to get the required results. In practice it often makes use of all the available technologies, so that results are more efficient and productive for designing, and costs are lower with the highest quality.
S.P.A.R.T.A., designs for the mining industry for many years, and uses lidar systems even to compute the yearly mined volumes in quarries and mines, in order to meet the latest requirements regarding laser scanning verification. Moreover, it provides clients with EasyCUBE software technology, developed by Virtualgeo, to allow them to completely self-manage, process and monitor the acquired data.

S.P.A.R.T.A. carries out the following laser scanning services:
  •   Environment and excavation (quarries and mines) surveys
  •   Road and infrastructure surveys
  •   Landslide and mountainside surveys
  •   River surveys
  •   Architecture surveys
Moreover, S.P.A.R.T.A. has traditional instruments, such as total stations and GPS, to carry out plane and altimetry surveys and surveys for cartographic setting.
