Dissemination



In the last years, S.P.A.R.T.A. has taken part in international research projects, seminars, and university master’s courses. The company was invited to give lectures and take part in collaborative projects in relation to the activities that develops in 3D model-based management of territory, and to the new technologies for environment design, mainly for the mining industry.
The stereoscopic system and 3D models of environment restoration works, which are visualized in aerial photo-simulations, allow the correct vision of the environmental transformations that are designed, and make the project choice and approval easier for the public sector bodies in charge.

EGYPT ECO-GEOMATICS PROJECT
Collaborative project with the University of Naples “Federico II” and the International Institute of Marble to engineer the survey process for quarries of dimensional stones, and innovate the processes of environment monitoring, rock waste recycling, and eco-compatible mining activity programming for Egyptian quarries.

NAICA PEÑOLES PROJECT – THE CAVE OF CRYSTALS – NAICA – MEXICO
The cave is famous for the biggest gypsum crystals (selenite) ever know on earth, which reach up to 12 meters in length and 2 in diameter. A laser scanning test of the caves named Cueva de los Cristales and Cueva de las Espadas was carried out with excellent results.

CUATRO CIÉNEGAS PROJECT – COAHUILA – MEXICO
The karst area of Cuatro Ciénegas is a wide valley with semi-desert climate surrounded by calcareous mountains up to 3.000 meter high. The valley has hundreds of beautiful small spring lakes and their water supply is completely unknown. The geodetic survey of about 300 small lakes of the valley was carried out in collaboration with Virtualgeo s.r.l.
